三定器者，汎論列眾有三義：一是當機、二是影響、三是寄法，今此通三也。

Third, determining the capacity: generally discussing the enumeration of the assembly, there are three meanings: first, being the intended audience; second, exerting influence; third, lodging the Dharma. Here, it encompasses all three.
