四世出世者，有四義：或俱是世間，以時中顯現故，又三世間中是一故：或俱出世，如其行德，非世攝故：或亦世亦出世，由具前二義故；又隨相論，初普賢等是出世，餘是世故。或非世非出世，以是出出世攝故。是故此眾通其三位，具斯四句也。

Fourth, 'mundane and supramundane' has four senses: either both are mundane, because they are manifested in time, and also because they are one among the three kinds of mundane realms; or both are supramundane, because according to their practices and virtues they are not subsumed under the mundane; or both are mundane and supramundane, by virtue of possessing the previous two senses, and also, discussing them in terms of their marks, the first, Samantabhadra and the others, are supramundane, while the rest are mundane; or they are neither mundane nor supramundane, because they are subsumed under that which transcends the supramundane. Therefore, this assembly encompasses these three states and possesses these four propositions.
