五祕密行者，《商主天子經》云「又復問文殊師利：『汝寧慳耶？』答言：『我實為慳。』又問：『何故？』答：『若心不捨，是即名慳。』又問：『云何不捨名慳？』答：『我常不捨諸佛法眾而不捨一切眾生，以是義故說我為慳。』」

5. Esoteric practice: The Shangzhu tianzi jing says, 'Again he asked Mañjuśrī: "Are you indeed stingy?" He replied: "I am truly stingy." He asked again: "Why?" He replied: "If the mind does not renounce, this is called stingy." He asked again: "How is not renouncing called stingy?" He replied: "I constantly do not renounce the assembly of the Buddha's teachings, and I do not abandon all sentient beings; for this reason I am said to be stingy."'.
