20.11

疏「初乘因入果」者，以勝解力即是乘因，入於如來功德大海即是入果。冲者，和也深也虛也高也昇也。今正是昇，義兼虛高。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "First, mounting the cause to enter the fruit": taking the power of superior understanding is mounting the cause; entering the great sea of the Tathāgata's virtues is entering the fruit. "Chong" means harmonious, deep, empty, high, and rising. Here it specifically means rising, with the sense also encompassing emptiness and height.
