Regarding the Commentary: "Delusion arises from falsehood, and thus its divisions are as numerous as dust and sand," and so forth, this is what is in the Great Prajñāpāramitā: "The purity of the perfection of wisdom: whether the purity of form or the purity of the knowledge of all aspects, there is no duality and no dual parts, because there is no distinction and no severance." Therefore, having no two parts means being a single part. For this reason, Master Daosheng said: "The ten thousand virtues share the same principle and mutually encompass each other; eliminating distinctions, their boundaries are vanished. Good causes, in subduing delusion, become distinct, and hence there are the names of eighty thousand practices. Although the practices are unequal, all result in bodhi, entirely because a single principle unifies them. How could there be two parts? The principle cannot be divided, just like empty space."
