3.52

疏「下經偈云」下，引經證，略舉人證耳，即兜率寶幢偈也。彼具云「眾生如是說，某日佛成道；如來得菩提，實不計於日。」〈法界品〉云「菩薩智慧妙法輪，遠離一切分別網，超越一切障礙山，不可以生死長短、染淨劫數顯示」等，其文非一。

Regarding the Commentary's 'The gāthā in the sūtra below says' and so on: it cites the sūtra for verification, merely briefly citing a person for verification—that is, the gāthā of Tuṣita Jewel Banner. That [sūtra] says in full: 'Sentient beings speak thus: / "On a certain day the Buddha attained the Way"; / Yet when the Tathāgata attained bodhi, / He truly did not count by days.' The 'Dharmadhātu Chapter' says: 'The bodhisattva's wonderful Dharma wheel of wisdom / Is far removed from all nets of conceptual discrimination, / Transcends all mountains of obstacles, / And cannot be demonstrated through the length of saṃsāra or defiled and pure kalpa counts,' and so forth; such passages are not single.
