疏「次句因聞法故」下，即經自辯勸請成益。「了相作意」等，即七作意，義如三地釋。

As for the commentary's phrase "The next sentence, 'Because of hearing the Dharma...'" downward: this is the sūtra itself distinguishing the accomplished benefits of entreaty. "Mental application that understands characteristics" and so forth are the seven kinds of mental application; their meaning is as explained in the Third Ground.
