58.35

疏「下論云等」者，以論先釋十行、後方始收束料揀，故云下論。言「盡是障地淨法」者，下文當釋，今且略明。謂盡能治地障故，故以一行對治一障。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "The text below the Śāstra says, etc.," because the Śāstra first explains the ten practices and only afterward summarizes and evaluates them, it says "the text below the Śāstra." Regarding the statement, "They are all pure dharmas that counter the hindrances of the bhūmis," this will be explained in the text below, but is now briefly clarified. It means they are fully able to counter the hindrances of the bhūmis; hence one practice is used to counteract one hindrance.
