60.127

疏「無慢心故」者，有慢則不求。二不妬他解故生喜悅。樂法故問，無折伏他心。好心好法，名之為喜。終時愛味，說以為樂。疏「八到法」下，於後三中，初一是定、後二是慧。若隨位分，到法初地，住法即是四地已上，行法即當八地已上。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "Because of having no arrogance": if there is arrogance, then one does not seek. Second, because of not envying another's understanding, joy arises. Because of delighting in the Dharma, one inquires, having no intention to subjugate others. Finding joy in mind and in the Dharma is called delight. Savoring it in the end is called joy. Regarding the commentary's statement from "8. Reaching the Dharma..." onward: among the latter three, the first is concentration, and the latter two are wisdom. If divided according to stages, reaching the Dharma corresponds to the first stage, abiding in the Dharma corresponds to the fourth stage and above, and practicing the Dharma corresponds to the eighth stage and above.
