疏「若大乘宗」下，二就諸教料揀。「無異轍」者，即通諸教。「若會相」下，正明始教。「若事盡理現」下，辨終教。從「泯絕」已下，即是頓教。「若事理圓融」下，辨圓教。

Regarding the commentary's phrase "if according to the Mahāyāna school" onward: second, evaluating according to the various teachings. "No divergent track" applies across the various teachings. Under "if unifying characteristics" onward, it correctly clarifies the Initial Teaching. Under "if phenomena are exhausted and principle becomes manifest" onward, it distinguishes the Final Teaching. From "complete obliteration" onward, this is the Sudden Teaching. Under "if phenomena and principle are interpenetrating" onward, it distinguishes the Perfect Teaching.
