61.59

疏「三不念」下，釋第三句不念。先以論釋、「此滅」下，二疏釋。先正釋、後「意識緣」下通妨，可知。然此第三通於境界及所緣，攝是法塵故，意識緣故，已如上說。《瑜伽》云「由遠離彼想以為因故，所有彼種種聚中差別想轉，謂飲食瓶衣車乘莊嚴具城舍軍林等想，一切不作意轉。」

Under the Commentary's "Third, not attending," this explains the third phrase, 'not attending'. First using the treatise's explanation; under "this extinguishes," second, the Commentary's explanation: first the correct explanation, and then under "mental consciousness takes as object" resolving objections, which can be understood. However, this third phrase applies to both objective sphere and cognitive object; being subsumed under dharmas as sensory data and being taken as object by mental consciousness, it is already as stated above. The Yogācāra says: "Because of taking distance from those notions as cause, all operations of differentiated notions within those various aggregations—meaning notions of food, drink, vases, clothing, vehicles, adornments, cities, houses, armies, forests, and so forth—all operate without mental application."
