疏「上來所釋」等者，本論亦不全屬五明，但有治障治染之別。《瑜伽》之中廣顯五明，與此相應，故雙用之。

Regarding the commentary's phrase, "what has been explained above," and so forth: the root treatise also does not subsume them entirely under the five knowledges, but merely distinguishes between counteracting obstacles and counteracting defilements. In the Yogācāra[-bhūmi], the five knowledges are extensively elucidated and correspond with this; hence both are employed together.
