63.94

疏「二興慈中」，經有三節：一初為物修因、二「獨一發心」下孤標大志、三「以是功德」下以善益物。初令淨障，為涅槃因。言畢竟清淨，亦涅槃果。後乃至獲得如來十力無礙智慧，令得菩提果。今疏雖總釋，義亦已圓。

Regarding the commentary's: "Second, in giving rise to compassion": The sūtra has three clauses: first, at the beginning, cultivating causes for the sake of beings; second, from "singly giving rise to the mind" downward, singularly declaring the great aspiration; third, from "with these merits" downward, benefiting beings through goodness. The first causes them to purify hindrances, which is the cause of nirvāṇa. The phrase "ultimate purity" is also the fruit of nirvāṇa. The latter extends to attaining the Tathāgata's unimpeded wisdom of the ten powers, causing them to attain the fruit of bodhi. Although the present commentary explains this in general terms, the meaning is already complete.
