疏「無差別則大周法界」下，釋上大小一對，亦有二意：初一事理對明大小。「若唯約事」下，唯就事明大小，可知。

The commentary states: "Non-differentiation is large, pervading the dharmadhātu..." and so forth, explaining the pair of large and small mentioned above, which also has two meanings: first, phenomena and principle are contrasted to clarify large and small; from "if purely in terms of phenomena..." downward, it explains large and small purely with respect to phenomena, which is understandable.
