81.79

疏「故能善知十法」者，彼經云「此菩薩善知十種法，所謂善知諸眾生受生、二諸煩惱現起、三習氣相續、四所行方便、五無量法、六諸威儀、七世界差別、八前際後際事、九演說世諦、十演說第一義諦」，句句皆有「善知」之言。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "Therefore, one is able to know skillfully the ten dharmas": that sūtra states, "This bodhisattva skillfully knows ten kinds of dharmas, namely: skillfully knowing 1. sentient beings taking birth; 2. the arising of afflictions; 3. the continuation of habit energies; 4. the upāyas practiced; 5. immeasurable dharmas; 6. all deportments; 7. the differences among worlds; 8. affairs of the past limit and future limit; 9. expounding conventional truth; 10. expounding ultimate truth." Every phrase contains the words "skillfully knowing."
