84.10

疏「四生分已盡」等者，上即我生已盡。若具大悲，留惑潤生、處有化物。今由闕悲，但自速出，如麞透圍。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Fourth: the share of rebirth has been exhausted...," this corresponds to the above "my rebirth has been exhausted." If one possesses great compassion, one retains defilements to moisten rebirth and dwells in existence to transform beings. Here, due to lacking compassion, they merely seek to quickly escape on their own, like a roe deer bursting through a hunting encirclement.
