Regarding the commentary's "Practice also has two kinds" onward: opening the sections to explain them: first explaining, then interfusing. In the former, regarding the explanation of sudden accomplishment, it first directly explains, then cites testimony. As for "one severed, all are severed, and so forth": "and so forth" includes one obstructed, all are obstructed; one cultivated, all are cultivated; one realized, all are realized. At the beginning of the "Chapter on the Practices of Samantabhadra," ten lines are spoken; if one accomplishes these ten, one suddenly accomplishes fifty-two kinds of supreme practices. When a single thought-moment of anger arises, a million obstacle-gates open; hence the verse says: "Ineffable kalpas / are just an instant. / Do not perceive long or short; / it is ultimately the dharma of a kṣaṇa." These are all due to perfect interfusion. Therefore, the "Chapter on Sublime Adornments" says: "Within a single Dharma-gate there are immeasurable gates; / for immeasurable thousands of kalpas it is expounded like this. / The vast meaning of the Dharma-gate that is expounded / is understood by the deva of universally moving light."
