Regarding the commentary's "The sūtra says: The world is always like a dream..." and so on, this is the third [part], citing scriptural proof. That is the first chapter of the Laṅkāvatāra, these being the middle two lines. In full, it reads: "Far removed from annihilation and permanence, / The world is always like a dream. / Cognition perceives neither existence nor non-existence, / Yet gives rise to great compassion." Previously, under the illusion-like forbearance, the subcommentary already cited it in full.
