Seventh, clarifying that the oceanic world-system of the Lotus Treasury completely encompasses the karmic realms of the three times: This oceanic world-system of the Lotus Treasury clarifies that this teaching-dharma is the three times in a single thought. A single thought means no-thought. When there is no-thought, there are no dharmas such as the three times, past, or present; this clarifies that the dharmakāya is free from thought, while the dharmas of all sentient beings' deluded thoughts of the three times across many kalpas are not apart from within no-thought. Because of this meaning, all the adorned realms of this Lotus Treasury world can mutually manifest the deeds of the Buddhas, and the causes and effects of the actions and karma performed by sentient beings across the three times are all manifested within it—either past karma is manifested within the future, or future karma is manifested within the past, or past and future karma are manifested within the present, or present karma is manifested within the past and future—just as when hundreds of thousands of bright mirrors are hung together, their reflections on all four sides, front and back, mutually interpenetrate. Because the essential nature of the dharmadhātu is timeless, the karma deludedly bound to the three times is suddenly manifested within the timeless Dharma. Therefore, the sūtra says: 'Wisdom enters the three times without coming or going.' The sūtra says: 'Disciples of the Buddha, you should observe / The majestic spiritual power of the land-systems: / The future lands / Are all made visible like dreams. / The oceans of past lands / In the worlds of the ten directions / All manifest their images within a single land / Just like apparitions. / All the Buddhas of the three times / As well as their lands, / Within a single land-system, / Are all completely seen.' The author of the treatise speaks in verse:
