Eighth, as for the Bodhisattva Caritravana (Forest of Practice): this is the practice difficult to attain, governing praṇidhāna-pāramitā. Being able to attain what is difficult to attain is named Caritravana. Because this stage of wisdom is difficult to ascend to, it is called the practice difficult to attain. Just as the youth Sudhana's kalyāṇamitra in this stage is the king named Mahāprabha. The eighth wisdom follows the great vow to fulfill the wishes of sentient beings, practicing great benefit, universally bestowing upon sentient beings worldly requisites of pleasure, and bestowing all the jewels of all-knowledge. Bodhisattva Caritravana is the person capable of practicing. The world of Sun Wisdom is the Dharma cultivated. The substance of wisdom in this stage increases in brightness, so the world is named Sun Wisdom. The Buddha Bright Mark Eye is the fruit of this stage; because the substance of wisdom in this stage increases in brightness, the Buddha fruit is designated Bright Mark Eye.
