夫闡教弘經須分四義：一長科經意、二明經宗趣、三明教體、四明總陳會數。

In elucidating the teaching and propagating the sutra, one must distinguish four points: first, broadly dividing the outline of the sutra's meaning; second, explaining the main theme of the sutra; third, explaining the essence of the teaching; fourth, comprehensively presenting the number of assemblies.
