Fourth, what is the virtue of removing the obstruction of heat and providing coolness? It is like a forest: whoever takes refuge under it escapes the heat and obtains the joy of coolness, yet the forest has no mind at all. This is to clarify that those who take refuge in this stage's bodhisattva, in accordance with their capacities, all attain coolness, while the bodhisattva's fundamental nature has no mind concerning whether it is beneficial or not.
