2.145

經曰「神力演大光」至「通達善趣門」者，述云：此後、廣誓。有二：初、廣歎佛德；後、總結立誓。初又有四：此初、歎化德也。演光普照者，即身業化；所餘六句皆口業化。除三垢濟眾難者，小乘化也。三垢者，即貪瞋癡也。開智眼滅盲闇者，大乘化也。閉惡道通善趣者，人天化也。

The sūtra says: "With supernormal power emitting great radiance..." up to "open the gates to good destinies." The commentary states: This next is the extensive vow. There are two parts: first, extensively praising the Buddha's virtue; second, summarizing and making the vow. The first also has four parts: this first is praising the virtue of conversion. Emitting radiance that shines everywhere is conversion through physical activity; the remaining six lines are all conversion through vocal activity. Eliminating the three defilements and saving from all distress is Hīnayāna conversion. The three defilements are greed, anger, and delusion. Opening the wisdom eye and extinguishing blind darkness is Mahāyāna conversion. Closing evil paths and opening good destinies is conversion for humans and devas.
