經曰「阿難白佛」至「故問斯義」者，述云：此第五、申問意也。日月猶有故，《覺經》云「其日月星辰皆在虛空中住止，亦復不迴轉運行，亦無有精光也」。蓋雖無須彌，往生之宮故有而已。以此即知彼土人天空地不同，諸有異釋唯勞虛言。

Regarding the passage from "Ānanda addressed the Buddha" to "therefore asked about this matter": The commentary states: This fifth part explains the intent of the question. The sun and moon still exist; therefore the Jue jing says: "Its sun, moon, and stars all dwell in empty space, and also do not revolve and move, nor do they have brilliant light." Though there is no Mount Sumeru, it is merely that palaces of those reborn exist. From this, one knows that the humans and devas of that land have a distinction between ground and sky; the various alternative explanations are merely wasted empty talk.
