經曰「本願力故」至「究竟願故」者，述云：此後、願力獲利也。本願者，即往誓願之力。他方菩薩聞名得忍，況亦自土故。願無缺故滿足，求之不虛故明了，緣不能壞故堅固，願必遂果故究竟。由此願力，生彼土者皆得三忍。

On the sūtra passage from "By the power of the original vow" to "because it is an ultimate vow": The Commentary states: This second part concerns obtaining benefit through the power of the vows. The "original vow" refers to the power of the past vows. If bodhisattvas of other directions obtain tolerance upon hearing the name, how much more so those of his own land! Because the vows lack nothing, they are "fulfilled"; because seeking them is not in vain, they are "clear"; because conditions cannot destroy them, they are "firm"; and because the vows must achieve their fruit, they are "ultimate." By the power of these vows, those born in that land all obtain the three tolerances.
