經曰「又眾寶蓮華」至「百千億光」者，述云：此第六、寶化充滿。有二：此初、華嚴世界也。暐（于鬼反），《說文》「盛明藐也」。曄（為韶反），華光盛也。又曄（王輒反），草木華貌。煥者明也，爛者文章鮮明也。

Regarding the sūtra saying from “furthermore, the lotus flowers of myriad jewels” down to “hundreds of thousands of kotis of rays of light,” the commentary states: This sixth is the jewel flowers filling [the land]. There are two parts: this first is the flowers adorning the world. *Wei* (暐, pronounced *yu-gui*): the *Shuowen* says, “flourishing brightness and vastness.” *Ye* (曄, pronounced *wei-shao*), the flourishing of floral radiance. Also *ye* (曄, pronounced *wang-zhe*), the appearance of blooming flora. *Huan* (煥) means bright; *lan* (爛) means clear and vivid patterns.
