經曰「彌勒菩薩」至「如佛所言」者，述云：第二、領解。有五：此初、信順佛語也。貫者通也。通心思之，世人實隨三毒之事，坐不得道，如佛說故。

The sūtra says: "Maitreya Bodhisattva" down to "just as the Buddha has said." The commentary states: The second part is the comprehension. There are five parts: this first is believing and complying with the Buddha's words. "Guan" (貫) means "penetrate." When one thoroughly ponders it in one's mind, worldly people indeed follow the affairs of the three poisons and due to this do not attain the Way, just as the Buddha said.
