經曰「以威神力」至「涅槃之道」者，述云：此後、正申化益也。滅惡就善者，令修世善。棄思受道者，修出世善。

On the passage from the sūtra beginning "By supernatural power" to "the path of nirvāṇa": the commentary states: This is the latter part, directly expressing the benefit of his teaching. 'Extinguishing evil and turning to good' means causing them to cultivate worldly goodness. 'Discarding thinking and receiving the path' means cultivating supramundane goodness.
