經曰「於此修善」至「未甞寧息」者，述云：此後、對餘佛土歎勝令修也。即望上位所居勝土，挍量歎勝，令增修意。殆者，危也盡也。今此中意，存其俗語，言欺之也。

On the passage from the sūtra beginning "Cultivating goodness in this [world]" to "never resting in peace": the commentary states: This is the latter part, praising superiority in contrast to other Buddha lands to induce cultivation. That is, looking toward the superior lands inhabited by those in higher positions, it compares and praises [cultivation here as] superior, causing them to increase their intention to cultivate. Dai means danger and exhaustion. Here the meaning retains the colloquial usage, signifying 'to deceive'.
