經曰「爾時三千」至「芬芬而降」者，述云：此第三、示相令信也。芬芬者，亂墜之狀也。

The sūtra states: "At that time, the three thousand" down to "fell down in profusion." The commentary states: This is the third [section], displaying signs to induce faith. "In profusion" (fenfen) describes the appearance of falling down in abundance.
