「『是為水想，名第二觀。』」結文可知。第三。地觀。所觀之境，備在前文，故第三但有躡前結勸而已。文有四節：初、思惟；二、正受；三、彰益；四、辨邪正。初、思惟。

"'This is the visualization of water, called the second contemplation.'" The concluding text is self-evident. Third, the contemplation of the ground. The object contemplated has been fully presented in the previous text; therefore, the third merely follows upon what precedes it to conclude and exhort. The text has four sections: first, reflection; second, proper attainment; third, clarifying the benefit; fourth, distinguishing the incorrect and correct. First, reflection.
