經曰：「復次，舍利弗！彼國常有種種奇妙雜色之鳥」，次第一總標羽族也，色類非一故言種種，容貌絕群故言奇妙。

The sūtra says: "Furthermore, Śāriputra, in that land there are always various wonderful birds of variegated colors." Next, the first generally indicates the feathered class. Because their colors and kinds are not one, it says 'various'; because their appearance surpasses the flock, it says 'wonderful'.
