Third, regarding humans and gods: Śakra Devānām Indra is fully called Śakro Devānām Indraḥ, translated here as "Able Lord of the Devas," that is, the lord of the Trāyastriṃśa Heaven. Here, "Di Shi" (Indra-Śakra) mentions both the Chinese and Sanskrit names together. The lords of the Mahābrahmā heavens and the Four Heavenly Kings heavens are very numerous and cannot be listed exhaustively; thus it says, "innumerable." Furthermore, together with the four assemblies of monastics and laity, as well as the eight classes of dragons and spirits, it therefore says: "along with the great assembly." This is abridged in the prologue; the full text appears in the dissemination section.
