第四段中，「智觀受已復能觀愛」結前生後。「受報名愛」總辨其相。「有二」下別，先舉、次列、下辨其相。言「雜食愛因生老」等，其言顛倒。若正，應言是生老等一切有因無食可知。

In the fourth section, "Having contemplated feeling, the wise person is further able to contemplate craving" concludes the preceding and introduces what follows. "Experiencing retribution is called craving" generally distinguishes its marks. From "There are two..." downward differentiates them: first it presents them, next lists them, and below distinguishes their marks. The statement that "the cause of craving for coarse food produces old age..." and so forth is an inversion of phrasing. If stated correctly, it should say that it is the cause of all existence such as birth and old age, while [the craving for] non-food is understood accordingly.
