In the second simile of foolish people not distinguishing, "the people wished to buy but did not recognize it" means not distinguishing at the beginning; from "went to the seller of medicine" onward means not distinguishing in the middle, first asking and then answering. From "this person" onward, giving them the false dharma is called "giving mixed medicines"; praising the wrong as right is therefore said as "this is the sweet medicine of the Snow Mountains." From "at that time buying" onward, taking it with a darkened mind that fails to comprehend the false and the true is therefore said as "the flesh eye cannot properly distinguish." Hearing the exposition and receiving it is called "bought it and carried it away." From "further spoke words" onward means not distinguishing at the end; taking the wrong as right, they thus say "I have obtained the sweet medicine of the Snow Mountains."
