就後段中，初廣、後結。廣中十對：一就佛下生以辯邪正、二就如來現行七步以明正邪、三就天神敬奉之事以辯邪正、四就如來娉妻之事以辯邪正、五就制戒以辯邪正、六就如來種種技能以辯邪正、七大小相對以辯邪正、八就佛身以明邪正、九就戒行持犯之事以辯邪正、第十約就內外道法以明邪正。十中，前四成道前事，次一是其成道後事，次一通明一化之事，後四還明成道後事。十中皆先明說邪正，對向初問；後辯受人，對向後問。

In the second section, first is the extensive [exposition], and then the conclusion. In the extensive [exposition] there are ten pairs: first, distinguishing the deviant and correct regarding the Buddha's descent and birth; second, clarifying the correct and deviant regarding the Tathāgata walking seven paces; third, distinguishing the deviant and correct regarding the veneration by deities; fourth, distinguishing the deviant and correct regarding the Tathāgata's marriage to a wife; fifth, distinguishing the deviant and correct regarding the institution of precepts; sixth, distinguishing the deviant and correct regarding the Tathāgata's various skills and arts; seventh, distinguishing the deviant and correct regarding the contrast between the Great and Small [Vehicles]; eighth, clarifying the deviant and correct regarding the Buddha's body; ninth, distinguishing the deviant and correct regarding the observance and violation of precept conduct; tenth, clarifying the deviant and correct regarding inner and outer traditions. Among the ten, the first four are events prior to attaining the Way; the next one is an event after attaining the Way; the next one generally clarifies the events of the entire conversion period; the final four again clarify events after attaining the Way. In all ten, they first clarify the deviant and correct in what is taught, addressing the initial question; and subsequently analyze the persons who receive it, addressing the final question.
