下說如來具種種德名之為正，亦有六句：一明如來為菩薩時，為調眾生，示入天寺，翻前第一；二明如來外學法中出家修道，知其威儀、文章、伎藝，翻前第二；三明如來能和鬪諍，翻上第三；四明如來為世欽敬，翻前第四；五「亦能示」下明佛隨世，亦能示現和合諸藥，而非邪見，翻上第五；六「為度」下明佛為度諸眾生，故種種方便，隨順世法，不唯處中，翻前第六。

Below, stating that the Tathāgata is endowed with various virtues is termed correct, which also has six phrases: first, clarifying that when the Tathāgata was a bodhisattva, in order to tame sentient beings, he manifested entry into the shrine of the devas, reversing the first above; second, clarifying that the Tathāgata went forth to practice the Way among non-Buddhist traditions and knew their deportment, literary composition, and technical arts, reversing the second above; third, clarifying that the Tathāgata could harmonize disputes, reversing the third above; fourth, clarifying that the Tathāgata was admired and revered by the world, reversing the fourth above; fifth, from "He could also manifest..." downward clarifies that the Buddha, according with the world, could also manifest compounding medicines without this being a wrong view, reversing the fifth above; sixth, from "In order to deliver..." downward clarifies that for the sake of delivering sentient beings, the Buddha used various skillful means to accord with worldly dharmas and did not merely abide in moderation, reversing the sixth above.
