第七對中，執小非大名之為邪，知大外小說以為正。邪中有二：一執小非大、二「是人復言如是經律我當受」下學小捨大。初中復二：一執小律非於大律、二「如來先說九部法」下偏執小經非於大經。

In the seventh pair, clinging to the Small and negating the Great is termed deviant; knowing that the Small is outside the Great and expounding it is termed correct. In the deviant there are two: first, clinging to the Small and negating the Great; second, from "This person also says: 'I will accept such sūtras and vinaya...'" downward, studying the Small and abandoning the Great. In the first there are again two: first, clinging to the Small vinaya and negating the Great vinaya; second, from "The Tathāgata previously taught the ninefold Dharma..." downward, exclusively clinging to the Small sūtras and negating the Great sūtras.
