經中有三：一明魔人執小非大、二「未來之世當有」已下佛呵顯過、三「我又說」下明己說大成彼邪謬。

In the sūtras there are three [parts]: first, clarifying that the person of Māra clings to the Small and negates the Great; second, from "In future ages there will be..." downward, the Buddha rebukes them to reveal their fault; third, from "I also taught..." downward, clarifying that he himself taught the Great, demonstrating their deviant error.
