第二段中，初之一偈舉涅槃果說為說因，准驗此文，定知此品明涅槃因，不須致疑。中間半偈明說利益，後半勸修。

In the second section, the first verse raises the fruit of nirvāṇa and speaks it in order to explain the cause. Examining this text as verification, one definitely knows that this chapter clarifies the causes of nirvāṇa, and there is no need to harbor doubt. The middle half-verse clarifies the benefit of the teaching; the latter half encourages cultivation.
