就謗法中，初先明其懺悔可救，「若犯」已下明不懺過。前中，先明可救之行懺悔歸法，句別有四：一略明悔過、二略明歸法、三「自今」已下廣明悔過、四「除此」下廣明歸法。譬如世人依地而倒還依地起，謗法亦爾，於法起謗還依法滅。「若能」已下舉施得福成其可救。不懺過中，道言「若犯如上惡」者謗法之惡，犯已下至一月、半月覆藏不懺，施之福少，何況多時？

Regarding the slander of the Dharma, first he makes clear that through repentance one can be saved; from "If one commits..." below explains the fault of not repenting. In the former part, he first explains the salvific practice of repenting and taking refuge in the Dharma, with four distinct clauses: first, briefly explaining repenting errors; second, briefly explaining taking refuge in the Dharma; third, from "From now on..." below, explaining repenting errors in detail; fourth, from "Apart from this..." below, explaining taking refuge in the Dharma in detail. Just as a person in the world who falls depending on the ground rises again depending on the ground, slandering the Dharma is also like this: having generated slander toward the Dharma, one is eradicated again depending on the Dharma. From "If one is able..." below cites giving to obtain merit to establish that they can be saved. In explaining the fault of not repenting, it states that "if one commits such evil as above" refers to the evil of slandering the Dharma; having committed it, if one conceals it without repenting for down to a month or half a month, the merit of giving to them is little, how much more so for a long time?
