下佛破遣，文還有三：一遣如來般涅槃相、二「若有計我是佛」以下遣轉法輪相、三「諸佛世尊諸有二」下遣其更轉無上之相。初中，佛告「汝今云何故於如來生涅槃相」呵其取滅，上來數明如來常住，文殊今言與前相反，故為此呵。「如來實常，不般涅槃」明佛不滅。

Below, the Buddha refutes and dispels [this], and the text likewise has three parts: first, dispelling the mark of the Tathāgata entering parinirvāṇa; second, from 'If someone conceptualizes that I am the Buddha' onward, dispelling the mark of turning the wheel of the Dharma; third, from 'The Buddhas, the World-Honoured Ones, have duality' onward, dispelling the mark of his turning the unsurpassable [wheel] anew. In the first part, the Buddha addresses him, 'Why do you now still generate the mark of nirvāṇa with respect to the Tathāgata?', scolding him for seizing upon cessation. Previously it was repeatedly explained that the Tathāgata is eternally abiding; Mañjuśrī's present words contradict what came before, and so [the Buddha] delivers this scolding. 'The Tathāgata is truly eternal and does not enter parinirvāṇa' explains that the Buddha does not cease.
