6.147

初中有四：一破戒傳經，生人譏呵；二「緣是」下由譏呵故，墮於地獄；三「受持」下如來呵責；四「如是人」下如來誡約，寧不受讀，不得破戒而傳是經。

In the first part there are four points: first, transmitting the sūtra while violating precepts gives rise to people's ridicule and blame; second, from "Because of this" downward, falling into hell due to ridicule and blame; third, from "Upholding" downward, the Tathāgata's reprimand; fourth, from "Such a person" downward, the Tathāgata's injunction that it is better not to undertake and read it than to transmit this sūtra while violating precepts.
