Below, the second part presents virtues to reveal the names: first it explains his own virtues, and 'the great lion's roar' explains the virtue of benefiting others. From 'great śramaṇa' downward, it again explains his own virtues, in which it first explains the preeminence of his meritorious virtue; from 'without a teacher' downward, his wisdom is profound and wondrous. There are distinctly ten clauses: the first clause generally praises his self-awakening without a teacher, and the middle eight specifically reveal it. As for 'swift wisdom', he knows dharmas sharply and swiftly, able to know all dharmas in a single thought. As for 'great wisdom', he knows dharmas profoundly and broadly. These two are the gateways: sharp reveals the aforementioned swiftness, and the rest reveal the aforementioned greatness. Because what he knows is deep and profound, it is called 'profound wisdom'; being pure and free from hindrances is called 'liberated wisdom'; rising high above other people is called 'unshared wisdom'; knowing dharmas extensively and numerously is called 'vast and universal wisdom'; the rank reaching the highest limit is called 'ultimate wisdom'; 'wisdom perfected' concludes generally.
