In the second section, the king of the world first reveals his lack of peace; from "Now, moreover, I have no supreme physician..." downwards, he laments that there is no place of elimination. In the first part, he first broadly adduces all two [kinds of] people who are not at peace. The prose after the verses explains that he himself is not identical to those who sleep peacefully, but is identical to those who are not at peace. In the first part, the verse reply generally marks and presents [the matter]; below, it sets out the words of the reply, consisting of seventeen and a half lines: the first eleven and a half lines explain those who sleep peacefully, and the subsequent six verses explain those who are not at peace. The preceding eleven and a half lines are grouped into four: first, there are four verses explaining the Buddha's sleeping peacefully; next, five and a half verses explaining the bodhisattva's sleeping peacefully; next, there is one verse indicating the persons who sleep peacefully in the first section, namely the Buddhas; the final verse indicates the persons who sleep peacefully in the second section, namely the bodhisattvas.
