第二歎中，初歎自德，「大慈悲」下歎其利他。自中，初言「無師自得」是總歎也。下別顯之，「相好嚴身」歎佛福德，「具力無畏」歎佛智惠。

In the second [part], the praise, first he praises his own virtues, and from "great benevolence and compassion" onward, praises his benefiting of others. Within [the praise of] his own [virtues], first stating "obtained naturally without a master" is a general praise. Below he demonstrates it specifically: "the major marks and minor characteristics adorning his body" praises the Buddha's merit; "possessing the powers and fearlessnesses" praises the Buddha's wisdom.
