6.400

下就前法明不聞聞，但就涅槃，餘類可知。文中有三：一明涅槃妙離眾相，凡時不聞，得聖乃聞；二明一切外道法中所未曾聞，今時得聞；三明一切小乘法中所未曾聞，今乃得聞。

Below, it clarifies "hearing what has not been heard" in terms of the preceding dharmas; it deals only with nirvāṇa, and the rest can be known by analogy. The text has three parts: first, clarifying that nirvāṇa wondrously transcends all marks, so that it is not heard while ordinary, but only heard when attaining sagehood; second, clarifying that it has never been heard within any non-Buddhist teachings, but now is heard; third, clarifying that it has never been heard within any Hīnayāna teachings, but is now heard.
