後一過者，世間聚落，或時有人、或時無人；六入不爾，一向無人。「智者知」下辯明菩薩修治捨離。何故？是中已言六賊，捨遠空聚元由畏賊，故此舉之。

Regarding the last one, which surpasses it: a worldly village sometimes has people and sometimes has no people; the six sense-bases are not like this, being exclusively without people. From "A wise person knows..." downward explains the bodhisattva's cultivation, remedy, and abandonment. Why? Here the six thieves have already been mentioned; fleeing far from the deserted village originally stems from fearing the thieves, and therefore this is raised here.
