次合六賊，先合六賊，後合捨去。前中初言「賊即六塵」，舉喻略合。下廣合中，有十四復次，初五復次明塵如賊；次一過賊，「能劫三世一切善故」；次六復如；後二復過，「能劫三界一切善故」。合去可知。

Next is the application of the six thieves. First it applies the six thieves, and afterwards it applies leaving and fleeing. In the former, it first states, "The thieves are the six sense-objects," briefly applying the simile by raising it. Below, in the expanded application, there are fourteen points. The first five points explain that the sense-objects are like thieves; the next one surpasses the thieves, "because they can rob all the good of the three times"; the next six are again [examples of being] like [thieves]; the last two again surpass them, "because they can rob all the good of the three realms." The application to leaving can be understood.
