In the second passage, "Why is it again called not yet reached in the past?" raises the question again to initiate it, and below explains in response to it. "What śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas cannot reach" adduces the small to reveal the great. "The bodhisattva can reach" clarifies that the great differs from the small. From "Therefore..." onward concludes it. "All śrāvakas, pratyekabuddhas, and so forth..." re-displays the aforementioned small: śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas cannot transform the body to be as fine as an atom, reaching realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges—this is one point of inadequacy. When the body moves, the mind also moves along with it—this is a second point of inadequacy. From "The bodhisattva does not..." onward re-displays the aforementioned great: "The bodhisattva is not like this; although the mind does not move..." overturns the latter phrase; "the body reaches everywhere" overturns the first phrase. From "This is called..." onward concludes it.
